Katharine H. Filipovic is the Owner and Principal Consultant of The Filipovic Group LLC, a boutique consulting firm dedicated to helping Tampa Bay’s residents and small business owners intentionally transform spaces, brands and systems into ones that are beautiful, cohesive and functional.

Katharine blends her blends her design-eye, fun/bubbly self with her “meticulous New York Auditor” perspective to provide solutions that are thoughtful, beautiful, and practical.

• As a former Internal Auditor for Citi Group, Barclays, and JetBlue, Katharine honed her skills in risk management, internal controls, and process improvement. She led meetings with executives, performed design-effectiveness assessments and performed operational effectiveness testing on high-risk controls. Her experience as an auditor honed her ability to assess organizations from the inside out, using her natural analytical, organized, and detail-oriented mind. Working at large international corporations, Katharine saw how meticulously designed the “backend” is and how necessary the audit profession is and that small businesses are

• As a Certified Organizational Specialist™, Katharine understands how to tweak and create functional organizational systems that support her clients’ natural daily habits, distinct organizing styles and to make things easier and intuitive to stay tidy.

• Katharine’s passion for interior decorating, organizing, and process improvement could be seen as early as childhood from room makeovers, organizing sessions, and website/business audits for friends and family. For over 15 years, she’s read countless books, such as “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” by Marie Kondo, and watched countless videos to increase her knowledge on these topics.
