Owner & Principal Consultant
Katharine Filipovic is the Owner and Principal Consultant of The Filipovic Group LLC, a boutique consulting firm based in Tampa, FL dedicated to helping small businesses and residential spaces align beautifully and function seamlessly. With a blend of corporate precision and creative vision, Katharine brings a unique perspective to every project—rooted in years of experience working in the finance industry primarily in New York, a lifelong passion for design, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Originally from New York, Katharine is now a proud Floridian. She brings the best of both worlds to her clients: big-city professionalism and polish, paired with warm, personalized service. Through The Filipovic Group, she helps small businesses and individuals transform their brands, systems, and spaces with intention and impact.
Before founding The Filipovic Group, Katharine worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at top-tier investment banks in New York, NY, Wilmington, DE, and Tampa, FL. In these fast-paced, high-stakes environments, she honed her skills in risk management, internal controls, and process improvement. She led stakeholder meetings with executives, performed design-effectiveness assessments and operational effectiveness testing on high-risk business-critical controls—all of which honed her ability to assess organizations from the inside out. Katharine earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Zicklin School of Business at Bernard M. Baruch College. Katharine’s lifelong passion of interior decorating could be seen from room makeovers for friends and family as a child to now full-scale residential and commercial transformations.
In 2024, Katharine experienced a profound personal transformation when she was introduced to a relationship with God and Jesus Christ through her then-boyfriend. This turning point reshaped how she approaches both life and business. Today, her faith influences every interaction and decision, guiding her to serve her clients with clarity, humility, and excellence.
